One Days Training Week - Improve your odds

'One Days' Training Week

11. Emergency Services/Local Authority Liaison

Aim:

To train anyone associated with managing an incident to co-operate and integrate appropriately with everyone else.

Approach:

This is a highly practical and interactive course.  The integration of responders at every level is vital for business continuity to be effective.  This course will enable students to actively co-ordinate their organisation’s plans and procedures with the emergency services, authorities and their dependencies.

  • Incorrect assumptions that make splendid isolation acceptable but dangerous.
  • The roles and responsibilities of emergency services.
  • The roles and responsibilities of the authorities and government.
  • The roles and responsibilities of organisations.
  • The structure of a major incident.
  • Incident management and business continuity.
  • What happens when the responders are disrupted too?
  • Assistance and advice, warning and informing; on both sides.
